Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the ability to understand the
concept of data concentration measures through the Problem Posing approach. The
research method that was carried out was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with 2
cycles. The research subjects were Semester III students of the Agrotechnology
Study Program of the College of Agricultural Sciences (STIPER) Rejang Lebong.
The results of this study indicate that the problem posing approach can improve the
ability to understand student concepts. The average score of the conceptual
comprehension ability of the first cycle is 62.83 with classical learning completeness
of 25% and the average of the second cycle is 74.83 with the percentage of classical
learning completeness of 83.33%
