MODAL SOSIAL PADA KOMUNITAS NELAYAN DI PULAU BAAI (Studi pada Nelayan di Kelurahan Sumber Jaya Kecamatan Kampung Melayu Kota Bengkulu)

This research tries to describe social capital of Pulau Baai fisherman with regard to three main element of social capital: trust, institution and social network. Data and information gathered by using snowball sampling technique by through indepth interview, observation. Reseach shows that trust, institution and social network contribute in creating autonomous community.interrelation among those three elements will enhance trust between individu or group and in turn become a basis for community empowerment.
