Abstract
The Indonesia Smart Program (PIP) is the provision of cash assistance
from the government to school-age children from underprivileged families which
is marked by the provision of Indonesia Smart Program (PIP) cards. This study
aims to determine the efficiency of the Smart Indonesia Program (PIP) at SMPN
10 Lebong including target accuracy, accuracy of mechanisms, accuracy of
utilization and factors that become obstacles. This study uses a qualitative
approach to descriptive methods by collecting observation data, interviews and
documentation. Conclusion The Smart Indonesia Program (PIP) is an aid issued
by the government in the field of education, the implementation of the Smart
Indonesia Program (PIP) aims to reduce the dropout rate in Indonesia, especially
in Lebong Regency, Education Policy is very important so that the goals of
Education can be achieved and the Government's efforts in Developing Education
Policies, one of which is the Accuracy of the Smart Indonesia Program (PIP) to
help students who are poor or vulnerable to poverty can get the same education.
The implementation of this program at SMPN 10 lebong is already good, it's just
that there are still problems that occur in this program such as this program is
right on target but there are still people who deserve to need assistance but do not
get this assistance, parents' awareness of the use of funds is still very low, In the
aspect of communication between parents and schools, parents' awareness of the
use of PIP funds is still very low, and the disbursement time is not in accordance
with the needs of the student's school
