EVALUASI PENERAPAN PROGRAM PENGUATAN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER BERBASIS BUDAYA SEKOLAH DI SMP NEGERI SEKECAMATAN PUTRI HIJAU

This research uses quantitative research, with data collection techniques using
questionnaires, observation and interviews. The sample in this study were all
teachers of jonior high school sub-district Putri Hijau, totaling 78 people. Based
on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that: (1) The
implementation of the character education strengthening program based on school
culture in jonior high school sub-district Putri Hijau is in accordance with the
Ministry of Education and Culture. (2) Implementation of the Strengthening
Program for School Culture-Based Character Education at jonior high school sub-
district Putri Hijau, including strengthening character education in learning,
strengthening character education in extracurricular activities, implementing
strengthening character education in culturing and habituation activities, routine
activities carried out by jonior high school sub-distric Putri Hijau District. among
others, the flag ceremony, joint exercise, praying together, commemoration of
national holidays, commemoration of religious holidays, clean Fridays and class
pickets. (3) Obstacles to the Implementation of the School Culture-Based
Character Education Strengthening Program at jonior high school sub-distric Putri
Hijau, namely some teachers and some students as described above and the
observations of researchers, it can be concluded that the inhibiting factors affect
the character building of students at jonior high school sub-distric Putri Hijau is a
different student background.
