ANALISIS PEMANFAATAN DANA BEASISWA AFIRMASI DIKTI DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEMAJUAN STUDI ( Studi Kasus Mahasiswa Papua di Universitas Bengkulu )

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan dana beasiswa afirmasi dikti
yang dapat meningkatkan kemajuan studi mahasiswa afirmasi. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan
adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dari 53 responden yang merupakan
mahasiswa aktif penerima beasiswa afirmasi dikti di Universitas Bengkulu. Teknik pengumpulan
data menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan secara langsung. Teknik sampling yang digunakan
adalah teknik purposive sampling. Pengukuran penelitian dalam kuesioner ini terdiri dari 12
pernyataan kepada responden. Analisis data menggunakan perhitungan skala likert. Hasil
penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa (1) Beasiswa Afirmasi yang diberikan pemerintah berpengaruh
positif terhadap kemajuan studi mahasiswa/i papua (2) Biaya Langsung yang diterima oleh
mahasiswa/i papua berpengaruh positif terhadap kemajuan studi (3) Biaya Tidak Langsung yang
diberikan pemerintah berpengaruh positif terhadap kemajuan studi.

Abstract
The purpose of this research is to find out the utilization of the Higher Education affirmation
scholarship funds which can improve the study progress of affirmative students. The research
method used is descriptive qualitative method. Data was collected from 53 respondents who were
active students receiving higher education affirmation scholarships at the University of Bengkulu.
Data collection techniques using questionnaires that are distributed directly. The sampling
technique used is purposive sampling technique. The research measurement in this questionnaire
consists of 12 statements to respondents. Data analysis uses a likert scale calculation. The results
of this study indicate that (1) Affirmation Scholarships provided by the government have a
positive effect on the study progress of Papuan students (2) Direct costs received by Papuan
students have a positive effect on study progress (3) Indirect costs provided by the government
have a positive effect on study progress.
