Abstract
The crime of sexual intercourse with seduction had decreased but increased in the
following year. This study aims to determine and describe the criminological
aspects of the crime, children who commit sexual intercourse with seduction
motives, and the efforts to overcome the problem of sexual intercourse with
seduction against child perpetrators. The study involved child perpetrators in
special child development institutions, investigators, judges, prosecutors, and
community counselors. The study uses an empirical legal method with a non�doctrinal approach, namely conducting direct observation of cases and related
policies. The results of the study showed that the act of sexual intercourse with
seduction was considered by the perpetrators to be the influence of pornography,
lack of parental control so that the perpetrator's child considered it normal in
dating which caused the loss of social control, in overcoming law enforcement
officers made preventive efforts such as prosecutors, police, and community
counselors cooperating with the Women's Empowerment and Child Protection
Service, Population Control and Family Planning through counseling, and
appeals, repressive efforts consisted of prosecution by prosecutors, assistance
from community counselors, and decisions by judges in accordance with the
juvenile criminal justice system, as well as invitations to children to do positive
activities and their parents to keep their children from committing the crime of
sexual intercourse.
