Abstract
Vocabulary mastery is a person's ability to recognize, understand, and use words
well and correctly through listening, speaking, reading, and writing. However, in
Nur Hidayah Kindergarten, Tetap District, there are still children who have not
been able to master vocabulary well and have a small vocabulary. This study aims
to develop wordwall learning media to improve vocabulary mastery in early
childhood. The research method is Research and Development (R&D) with the
ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The
population in this study was Nur Hidayah Kindergarten with a sample of 12
children using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through
questionnaires and observations, then analyzed using a Likert scale formula. The
results showed that the developed wordwall media obtained a validation score of
94% from material experts, 100% from language experts, and 84% from media
experts, this indicates that the developed wordwall media is very feasible. Field
trials on 12 children resulted in an observation score with a percentage of 91.45%,
classified as "Very High". This shows that wordwall media is very suitable for use
to improve vocabulary mastery of early childhood children and support the learning
of Group B children. In conclusion, wordwall learning media is suitable and
effective for use to improve vocabulary mastery of Group B children at Nur Hidayah
Kindergarten, Tetap District.
