Abstract

The aim of this research was to find superior commodities agriculture in
North Bengkulu Regency. The data used in the research were secondary data
obtained from references information an documents available at institutions and
offices related to the research. To analize the superior commodities in the North
Bengkulu Regency, the present study use secondary data with analizing methods
such as Location Quotient, Shift Share and Overlay. The result of the analysis
that superior commodities agriculture which have a great potency as the basic they
were pea nut in plantation sub sector cow and goat in livestock sub sector, log,
sawn wood, and Manau rattan in forestry sub sector and fresh water technique
ponds in fishery sub sector.
Besides that, there were founded some potential commodity for developed
in North Bengkulu Regency, they were dry field paddy commodity, and green
peanut, clove, cinnamon and ginger, buffalo, pig, buras chicken, chicken egg, and
duck ; fishery product were fresh water, bruckish water pond, and open water.
