Abstract
Fish resources to be one of foundation the national economy in thee future. Fish is
a renewable resource, but if decision would result in unplanned break the chain
life. One of the effortsOne of the leading commodities in Indonesian Plantation is
coffee. However, its productivity is still under 1 tonne/ha/yr when compared to
Vietnam which reach 3 tonnes/ha/yr. Therefore, the strategy of the development
for coffee needs to be improved to meet the demand of domestic and international.
The method used in this study is descriptive analysis. The number of respondents
in this research as many as 44 people, both from governments and from the
breeder. The analysis in this research include analysis of internal and external of
SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threats), to formulate strategies in the
development of lele fish breeder in Bengkulu City.
The result of SWOT matrix are: (1) to give the breeder a source the quality of
seed lele fish. (2) create a presentation to breeder about how we choice the high
quality of lele fish. (3) to increase a location for lele fish breeding through
government credit. (4). Give the breeder a assistance in capital /soft loans. (5) to
give assistance like a terpal pond and fiber glass to breeder which have a group.
