Abstract

This study aims to compare the assessment of financial factors between
Islamic Banks with Conventional Commercial Bank Has Sharia period 2008-
2010. Financial ratios used consists of aspects of CAR, KAP, NOM, STM, and
MR. Samples taken in this study based on purposive sampling method of banking
companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and Bank Indonesia Sharia
Bank is 5 and 4 Conventional Commercial Bank Has Sharia. This research used
independent sample t-test to test the hypothesis.
This study found that overall there was no significant difference seen from
the assessment of financial aspects of capital, asset quality, profitability, liquidity,
and sensitivity to market risk between the Syariah Commercial Bank
Conventional Commercial Bank which has Sharia 2008-2010 period. CAR
Although quantitatively, KAP, NOM, and STM on Sharia Commercial Banks on
Conventional Commercial Bank Has Sharia. Whereas MR Islamic Banks under
Conventional Commercial Bank Has Sharia, but they still lack in the supply of
capital to cover losses due to exchange rates.
