PENINGKATAN KAPASITAS KELOMPOK TANIMELALUI PROGRAM PENGEMBANGAN USAHA AGRIBISNIS PEDESAAN (PUAP) DI DESA KUNGKAI BARU KABUPATEN SELUMA

Existence Gapoktan increasingly felt by members in addressing the problems facing farmers' groups and their members relating to capital , marketing of agricultural products members , provision of means of production. Capital and business activities are expected to continue to experience growth brings changes towards a more productive farming for farmers as well as increasing the capacity of
the group. This study aimed to analyze the relationship PUAP program implementation , characteristics and group mentoring instructor / supervisor farmer partners ( PMT) with a capacity of farmer groups in groups ( Gapoktan Tri
Manunggal) , the village of Kungkai Baru. Designed study using purposive . The data was collected in February through March 2013 in the village of Kungkai Baru Seluma District . The study population of 56 people , carried on at 7 farmer groups on gapoktan Tri Manunggal .Each group was taken as much as 3 person group administrator with census methods and members of a group of 5 people purposively . To see the corelation between the
variables PUAP Program Implementation , group characteristics and Assistance Extension / Supervisor Mitra Tani ( PMT ) with a capacity group satistik Pearson
correlation test was used The results showed that the implementation of the program PUAP ,advocacy groups and instructor characteristics and PMT significantly correlated with the capacity of the group with a correlation coefficient of 0.492 , respectively p -value ( 0.000 ) , 0.577 p - value ( 0.000 ) and 0.551 p value ( 0.000 ) The research concludes that the implementation of the program PUAP that
correlated with the capacity of groups on aspects of planning and implementation .Characteristics of the groups were correlated with the capacity of the group in terms
of its goals and activities of the group . Mentoring extension and PMT significantlycorrelated with the capacity of the group
