Abstract
The properties that must be contined by thg asphalt as a bir{er in pad ppvement mix me adhesion2 strong cohesion, weather resistant, insoluble iii water'and'good elasticity. Some bfthpse pro"perties, also Contined sulftr.This study ayms lo determine etr9ct .o,f pagy level of sulfur to the mixture 9f asph.alt eoncrete b^inder coarse (ACBC).The results of laboratory testS on the marshall characteristics includingthe'stability value, flow,VMAo'VFA,VIM and MQ showed that the a{dition,of sulfur in. hotmix (AC-BC) produqed the bclte5 qrarshall chalacteristic value and meet the qualificafion of Bina Marga 2010. The 8% of sulfur addition provide the best value of Marshall haracteristics. It teqhnically means that zulfir in hotrnix is acpeptabh as abditive
